The Kentucky Derby 2010 is now on its 136th year and will happen on May 1st this year.
The race will have a kick off time on 5:00 pm EDT on May 1. Another exciting event will happen and that is the Kentucky Oaks Day which will tak place on April 30, 2010.

The field is composed of three year-old Thoroughbred horses who will race around Churchill Downs to capture the most prestigious horse race title in the world.
